A few things that affect output quality more than people expect:
Text-based PDFs convert cleanest. If your PDF was exported from Word, Google Docs, or PowerPoint originally, skip OCR entirely, it only slows things down and isn't needed.
For scanned documents, higher-resolution scans OCR more accurately. A blurry phone photo of a page will still convert, but expect to proofread it afterward.
Complex multi-column layouts (like newsletters or academic papers) may need manual adjustment after conversion. The tool preserves position, but PowerPoint doesn't handle columns the way a PDF does.
